Cape Lookout Scenic Boat Tour
For the past 10 years, our Cape Lookout Tour has been the ultimate and must-do tour on the Crystal Coast. We have updated and improved on the tours to give you more time and information on the local areas from Beaufort to Cape Lookout. This tour is designed to show the best of the Crystal Coast. On this tour passengers will go around the Rachel Carson Reserve, down Shackelford Banks and see other treasures throughout the Crystal Coast as you make your way to the Cape. Passengers will learn the history of the Cape, hook, drain, life-saving services and the lighthouse which are a few of the charms on the Crystal Coast that will be explained, all while looking for sea turtles and other wildlife.
Pricing: $30 for adults, $15 for children 11 and under
Passengers will stop at Harkers Island to learn about the history of the island and have the opportunity to visit some prominent businesses that make up Harkers Island. Stretch your legs and learn the history of Harkers Island and how it influenced the history of the area. The Cape Lookout tour will take a minimum of two hours. Reservations are required to enjoy this tour. Rachel Carson Horse & Waterfront Tours
This tour will last approximately 75 minutes and will provide passengers the best of both worlds, allowing you to take in the sights of Rachel Carson on and off the ferry. You’ll also have the chance to hear the true and historic accounts of Blackbeard while learning of the history of the Beaufort waterfront, its residents and homes including the Hammock House. This scenic cruises you to Fort Macon, Radio Island, Duke Marine Lab and historic downtown Beaufort. Horses on Carrot Island may be seen grazing along the water’s edge are descendants of shipwrecked Spanish mustangs may also be seen while traveling past Shackleford Banks. This tour completely circles the Rachel Carson Reserve, including Carrot Island, Horse Island, Sand Dollar Island, Bird Shoal and Town Marsh as we provide the only tour that ventures along this route. Passengers will be able to see wildlife enjoy their natural habitat and possibly even wild ponies roaming through the sea grass. Reservations are required to enjoy this tour.
